Children's Privacy

The short version

• Pack Workout is only for people aged 16 or older. Nobody under 16 may use it.
• Everyone needs an account, and the sign-up form asks you to confirm that you are 16 or older.
• We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we find out we have, we delete it.
• Parents: email privacy@lobolift.com and we will help.

Who can use Pack Workout

We recommend that 16- and 17-year-olds talk to a doctor or qualified coach before starting strength training or changing how they eat.

How the age check works

• At sign-up: the sign-up form has a separate, unticked "I am 16 or older" box, which must be ticked before the form can be sent. Our server refuses to create an account without it, and records the answer with the account.
• After that: the app only works while you are signed in. Our server checks the account's recorded 16-or-older confirmation before it answers any AI request.
• Body & nutrition asks for your birth year to calculate estimates. If it shows you are under 18, the app does not offer a calorie deficit.

We do not ask for a date of birth or ID documents to sign up. Collecting those from everyone would mean holding more data about more people, including children, which is what we want to avoid. This means we rely on people answering honestly.

Like any website, loading our website or web app means the browser connects to our server, and our hosting provider keeps the device's IP address in its access logs for up to 30 days (see the Privacy Policy). Apart from anonymous counts, if Analytics is allowed in Cookie settings, nothing else is sent before someone signs up or signs in.

We keep privacy-friendly defaults for everyone: optional analytics is off, sharing workouts with the AI is off, body data is only stored with explicit consent, there is no location tracking, no profiling, no ads, and no social features or contact with other users.

If we learn we have data from someone under 16

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will:

1. delete the account and all data in it as soon as we can, and within 30 days at most: the email address, synced workouts, routines, custom exercises, settings, any body data, consent records, usage counts and sessions;
2. cancel any Pack Plus subscription and refund all of its payments;
3. not use the data for anything else in the meantime.

Deleting the account also ends its sign-in on every device. The copy cached on a device is removed when the app there is signed out or its data is deleted (More > Your data > Delete all data on this device, clearing the browser's site data, or uninstalling the app).

For parents and guardians

If you think your child under 16 has an account, email privacy@lobolift.com. Please tell us the email address they used. We will confirm by email when the data has been deleted. We will not ask you for more personal data than we need to find and delete the account.

You can also delete the account yourself, without the app, using the deletion form on our website, which sends a confirmation link to the account's email address.

The law

• United States (COPPA): Pack Workout is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because we refuse to collect it rather than asking for parental consent, we do not collect parents' details either.
• EU and UK (GDPR Article 8 and UK GDPR): some countries let children consent to online services from age 13, 14 or 15. We use 16 everywhere, the highest age the GDPR allows, so we never rely on a child's own consent.
• UK Age Appropriate Design Code: we follow its approach with high privacy settings by default, collecting only the minimum data, and no nudges to give up privacy.
• Brazil (LGPD) and other laws: we apply the same rule everywhere: no personal data from under-16s.
