Accessibility Statement
Effective: 2026-10-12
The short version
- We want everyone to be able to use Pack Workout, with or without a mouse, a screen reader, or perfect eyesight.
- Our target is WCAG 2.2 level AA for the website, the web app and the Android app.
- We know of some limits, listed below.
- Something not working for you? Email support@lobolift.com. We reply within 5 business days.
Our goal
Pack Workout aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This covers our website https://lobolift.com, the web app and the Android app, which share the same design.
What we do
- Keyboard: everything can be used with a keyboard alone. Every page has a "Skip to content" link, focus is always clearly visible, and you never get stuck in a part of the page. Dialogs keep focus inside while open, close with Esc, and return focus to where you were.
- Contrast: text and controls use a colour palette checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and controls), in both light and dark themes.
- Text alternatives: every meaningful image has alt text. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Charts: every chart in the app (progress charts and any weight chart in Body & nutrition) comes with a table showing the same numbers.
- Tour and help: the first-run tour is a dialog with Back, Next and Skip buttons and a step counter; Esc skips it, and you can replay it from More > Help & tour. The small "?" help buttons next to features are labelled "Help:" plus the topic name for screen readers, say whether their tip is open, and close with Esc, returning focus to the button. You can hide them with "Show help buttons" in Settings. The same help is on our website's Help page.
- Screen readers: we use standard HTML elements, labelled form fields and headings in order, so screen readers can follow the page.
- Touch targets: buttons, form controls, and links in menus, lists and the footer are at least 44 pixels tall. Links inside a sentence follow the size of the text around them, which WCAG 2.2 allows.
- Motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, we turn off animations.
- Light and dark: we follow your device's light or dark setting, and you can override it.
- Zoom and text size: pages work when zoomed to 200% and on narrow phone screens without scrolling sideways.
- Plain language: we write short, clear sentences and avoid jargon where we can.
- Forms: errors are explained in text, not only by colour, and required fields are marked.
Known limits
We are honest about what is not perfect yet:
- Stripe checkout: payment takes place on Stripe's checkout page, which Stripe builds and runs. We cannot change it. If you have trouble paying, email us and we will help.
- Charts: the charts themselves are drawings. Screen reader users get the same numbers from the table next to each chart.
- AI text: AI suggestions are written by an AI model. We ask it for short, plain text, but it may sometimes use words that are harder to read.
- Your own content: names and notes you type or import are shown as you wrote them.
How we checked
This statement is based on our own testing (a self-assessment): automated checks with axe-core in our end-to-end tests, and manual testing with a keyboard. We have not yet had an independent audit.
